CONCORD — New Hampshire’s preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for July 2025 was 3.1 percent. This was unchanged from the June rate, which remained at 3.1 percent after revision. The July 2024 seasonally adjusted rate was 2.6 percent.

Seasonally adjusted estimates for July 2025 placed the number of employed residents at 751,350, a decrease of 800 from the previous month and a decrease of 870 from July 2024. The number of unemployed residents decreased by 160 over the month to 23,870. This was 3,930 more unemployed than in July 2024. From June 2025 to July 2025, the total labor force decreased by 960 to 775,220. This was an increase of 3,060 New Hampshire residents from July 2024.
