Trains, planes, and automobiles put on a show this Saturday

NORTH CONWAY — The Conway Scenic Railroad’s famed 1921 steam locomotive #7470 marks its official return to service on Saturday, June 29, with a rare-mileage excursion through Crawford Notch to the Mount Washington Regional Airport in Whitefield. Here, train passengers will visit the air show and transportation festival.

The train leaves the North Conway depot at 9 a.m. and arrives in Whitefield at approximately 11:45 a.m. About two hours will be allowed to enjoy activities, displays, and demonstrations including a classic car cruise-in, antique tractor show, tour of a N.H. National Guard Black Hawk Helicopter, visiting airplanes from across the Northeast, and stunt pilots Jason Flood and Scott Francis, and more.
