“The Nepal Chronicles” at Gorham Public Library, April 8

GORHAM — Dan Szczesny, long-time journalist and travel writer, will present “The Nepal Chronicles: Marriage, Mountains, and Momos in the Highest Place on Earth” on Friday, April 8, 7 p.m., at the Gorham Public Library. From the chaos of Kathmandu’s super-charged streets and the recent earthquake disaster to the tranquil but challenging trails of the Himalayas, “The Nepal Chronicles,” based on his memoir of the same name, is a deeply felt exploration of the culture and history of one of the most intriguing destinations on our planet. Szczesny’s engaging talk will include a photo presentation of his journeys. This presentation is open to the public and free of charge. Please call (603) 466-2525 for more information.
