When matriarch Lily (Laura Houck) returns to the family estate in Knox County, Maine, it’s a bittersweet reunion. Her childhood memories of the house and famed cherry orchard are fond, yet the family can’t pay the back taxes and are poised to lose the property. Snowlion Repertory Company presents a lively world-premiere production, with evocative staging and merry ensemble work, at the Portland Ballet Studio Theater.
