BERLIN — The Berlin-Gorham-Kennett girls hockey team skated to a commanding 7-0 home win over Keene-Monadnock-Fall Mountain on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Notre Dame Arena, striking early while the iron was hot and never relinquishing control of the ice.

The Mountaineers wasted little time seizing control from the opening faceoff, erupting for five first-period goals while controlling play in all three zones. Sophomore Brooklyn Gagne opened the scoring at 7:52, finishing a setup from sophomore Letty Zipf and senior Emma Dziedzic. Just 42 seconds later, sophomore Willow Brouillette buried a chance off a feed from Gagne to make it 2-0.
