CONWAY — In recent years, a Kennett High versus Berlin boys’ basketball game has been must-watch viewing as the contests have provided wire-to-wire action with the games often coming down to the last couple of possessions. Sadly, Tuesday’s meet at the Peter Ames Gymnasium was not one of those. While the Eagles have one of their better flocks on the hardwood, the Mountaineers are in a rebuilding phase after losing 10 seniors to graduation last spring.
Kennett made seven of its season-high 14 three-pointers in a 31-point first-quarter outburst and went on to beat Berlin 70-22.
