The Androscoggin Gladiators is a nonprofit organization, that places a strong emphasis on keeping the communities they represent informed and involved. The program serves families from Berlin, Gorham, Milan and surrounding towns, with plenty of local athletes and families to cheer on throughout the season. The Gladiators program includes three levels of football: Junior Gladiators, seventh- and eighth-grade Gladiators, and high school-level Gladiators. BERLIN — The Androscoggin Gladiators split their week two and week three games, rolling past the Charleston Bible School Lions of Judah, 72-30, before falling to the Central Maine Eagles, 44-28.
The Gladiators came out firing against the Lions of Judah, scoring 72 points while creating multiple turnovers on defense. Cavin Lemelin led the offensive charge with 230 yards and five touchdowns on 13 carries. He also hauled in a 35-yard touchdown pass and added a two-point conversion. On defense, Lemelin recorded three tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.
