SHELBURNE — A 23-year old Shelburne man accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday morning, suffering a serious but non-life threatening injury.

N.H. Fish and Game reported receiving a call shortly after 10 a.m. that Tristan Byrd was target shooting with his father and other family members in a sandpit off Larry Brook Road when he inadvertently shot himself in the lower leg while manipulating the pistol in his jacket pocket.
