To the editor:

The executive director of the North Conway Community Center, Carrie Burkett, has been offered and accepted a new position that will give her the opportunity to expand on her already excellent professional skills. This is obviously bittersweet. As her community, we celebrate this new opportunity for her, but we will greatly miss her enthusiasm, energy and creativity at the center.
