BERLIN — City councilors on a voice vote earlier this month approved acceptance of a N.H. State Council on the Arts grant to repair, restore and install an abstract sculpture by a native Berliner in a downtown location that will give the three-dimensional artwork more visibility.

The Moose Plate grant is for $19,500. The N.H. Moose Plate program offers grants for conservation and preservation projects that support New Hampshire’s natural, historical and cultural resources.
