GORHAM — A water main break late Monday night into Tuesday on Main Street resulted in the closure of Gorham schools, some business interruptions and the postponement until June 1 of the next board of selectmen meeting.
A timestamp on the first announcement to residents showed the public notification of the water main break of 12:11 a.m., in the earliest moments of Tuesday, May 26. Repairs were completed around 8:30 p.m. that night.
