The Gorham Congregational Church has been awarded a N.H. Land and Community Heritage Investment Program grant to help cover the cost of repairing its ornate domed bell tower and weathervane.

The LCHIP grant of $16,250, which must be matched, will help with repairs needed to stop the tower from leaking and damaging the interior of the building. In addition to preventing interior damage, it will restore the exterior of the tower to its former beauty.
