ANDROSCOGGIN VALLEY — Restaurants and businesses across the Berlin-Gorham region admit to being nervous as emergency orders to battle COVID-19 closed dining rooms and bars and prohibited gatherings larger than 50 people through April 7. But they also expressed confidence that the valley will ultimately get through this latest challenge.

“It may get worse before it gets better. But we are a resilient people especially us here in the North Country. We will figure it out and get through this,” said Scott Labnon of the Town and Country Inn and Resort in Shelburne.
