BERLIN — Nordic Construction Services has paid a total of $77,356 to 45 employees to settle overtime and record keeping violations cited by the U.S. Department of Labor.

An investigation by the department’s Wage and House Division found that the Berlin company failed to pay overtime to employees when they worked more than 40 hours a work week. The division also cited the company for failing to count travel time as work time. In addition, the company was charged with failing to record travel hours — a recordkeeping violation.
