BERLIN – The continuing resolution passed by the U.S. Senate and House this week contains funding to continue the activation of the federal prison in Berlin.

The continuing resolution, which passed the U.S. Senate Wednesday, and passed by the U.S. House yesterday, funds the federal government for the next six months and averts a March 27 shutdown. The bill goes to President Obama who is expected to sign it.
