The fiscal 2003 Omnibus appropriations bill, containing over $29 million for Coos County projects, is headed to the White House where the president is expected to sign it by Thursday.

The final conference report for the bill passed both the House and Senate late Thursday night. U.S. Senator Judd Gregg reported that he was successful in obtaining funding for some key North Country projects.
