GORHAM — Residents registered to vote in Gorham, Randolph and Shelburne may do so on Jan. 23, the date of the presidential primary and an election to choose a new state representative for District 6.

Voters in those three towns comprising District 6 will decide between Democrat Edith Tucker, a former state representative and journalist from Randolph and Republican Michael Murphy, a Navy Seabee veteran from Gorham running in his first political race.
