GORHAM -- The White Mountain Rotary Club asked for speech contest participants and Gorham High School teacher Rob Hamel answered the call.  Hamel had students write a speech to be given to the Rotary Club regarding Rotary's Four Way testament and how the students interpreted it.  The Rotary Four Way test is as follows: Is it the truth?  Is it fair to all concerned?  Will it bring good will and better friendships?  Will it be beneficial to all concerned?  After listening to each of the students the Rotarian judges choose the winner.  Eliza Brodeur-Fossa was selected winner and was presented with the prize of $100. Eliza's speech was a touching real life story that showed what good will and better friendship meant to her.   Eliza now has the chance to move on within the district and can win up to $1,000.  When asked what she was going to do with the prize money, Eliza responded by saying that she and her mom were going oversees and that she was going to use the money for her trip.  The White Mountain Rotary Club wishes Eliza the best of luck as she continues on in the Rotary District 7850 speech contest.
