First former Anglican priest ordained in Diocese of New Hampshire

MANCHESTER — The Most Rev. Peter A. Libasci, D.D., bishop of Manchester, the Roman Catholic Church in New Hampshire, ordained the Rev. Jordan Easley to the priesthood at Saint Joseph Cathedral in Manchester on Feb. 22.

Formerly an Anglican minister for six years, the Rev. Easley prepared for the Sacrament of Holy Orders in accord with the program of studies and formation proper to the Pastoral Provision, which was established in 1982 by Pope Saint John Paul II at the request of former episcopal clergymen.
