BERLIN — Professional fire fighters from Berlin Local 1088 once again showed their unwavering support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) by raising $2,100 during this year’s Fill the Boot Road Toll, held on June 4 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Berlin. The efforts contribute to MDA’s mission of empowering people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases to live longer, more independent lives.

The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) has partnered with MDA to fuel progress in research, care, and advocacy through the Fill the Boot program. This campaign continues a longstanding tradition of giving that has raised over $721 million nationwide since 1954.
