GORHAM — It was the time to reminisce and check out cars of yesteryear at the Town Common under an overcast sky Aug. 18. “A Drive Back In Time” car show is held on the common every August and is the successor to the former “Drive into the Fifties,” which was held in downtown Berlin for many years.
The show, now in its third year, is organized by the Gorham Parks & Recreation Department with several local businesses as event sponsors. One such sponsor, Bob Byrnes, owner of Byrne Auto Center, had several automobiles from his personal car collection on display.
