Grant-funded effort will now serve five key sectors of the economy

CONCORD — ApprenticeshipNH, a grant-funded effort that seeks to address workforce needs in specific sectors throughout the state with a combination of classroom instruction and on-the-job training, has added two sectors to the list of those served. The program, operated through the Community College System of New Hampshire, will now also support the hospitality and construction and infrastructure sectors in addition to the advanced manufacturing, information technology and health-care sectors it has served since its inception.

“We are thrilled to be able to work with companies in these additional sectors and looking forward to building some very meaningful partnerships,” said Emily Zeien, grant manager for ApprenticeshipNH at CCSNH. “We want to be able to offer people in New Hampshire multiple pathways to enter high-need careers. Expanding our focus for apprenticeships in areas of growth such as construction and hospitality will enable more people in diverse career paths to advance.”
