CONCORD — New Hampshire’s preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for April 2025 was 3.1 percent. This was unchanged from the March rate, which remained at 3.1 percent after revision. The April 2024 seasonally adjusted rate was 2.4 percent.

Seasonally adjusted estimates for April 2025 placed the number of employed residents at 752,990, a decrease of 690 from the previous month and an increase of 2,770 from April 2024. The number of unemployed residents increased by 380 over-the-month to 24,170. This was 5,400 more unemployed than in April 2024.
