CONCORD — New Hampshire’s preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for February was 3.0 percent. This was an increase of 0.1 percentage point from the January rate, which remained at 2.9 percent after revision. The February 2024 seasonally adjusted rate was 2.3 percent.
Seasonally adjusted estimates for February placed the number of employed residents at 754,540, a decrease of 150 from the previous month and an increase of 5,720 from February 2024. The number of unemployed residents increased by 780 over the month to 23,050. This was 5,140 more unemployed than in February 2024. From January to February, the total labor force increased by 630 to 777,590. This was an increase of 10,860 New Hampshire residents from February 2024.
