SARGENT'S PURCHASE — Using ATVs, two N.H. Fish and Game officers rescued a hiker injured in a fall on the Tuckerman Ravine Trail on Mount Washington Monday.

The Appalachian Mountain Club received a call at approximately 5 p.m. on July 24, reporting that Jacqueline White, 29, of Edinboro, PA., had sustained a leg injury in the fall. White was taking a short day hike with a friend and was able to make it down to the AMC’s Hermit Lake Shelter at the base of Tuckerman Ravine before calling for help.
