Dear readers,

Thank you readers who purchased a subscription for full access to the Sun’s web site.

As many of  you know, newspapers are in decline everywhere and the result is a loss of local news, which in many communities has led to less civic involvement, including lower turnout at the polls for local elections.

As a free daily newspaper, the Sun so far has managed to avoid the losses other newspapers have experienced. Still, COVID-19 has taken a toll, and we just want you to know that your paid subscription helps keep the Sun strong and in a position to offer the award-winning coverage of local news you’re accustomed to.
