CONWAY — A local campground owner says North Conway Walmart was uncharitable to Canadian campers who were displaced Tuesday by flooding. Walmart says despite its no overnight parking rule it hosted the campers for one night and then asked them to leave in the morning due to a town ordinance.

Beach Camping Area owner Peter Gagne told the Sun Tuesday that three Canadian campers in three RVs left his campground yesterday due to flooding. The campers attempted to go to another campground but it was full.
