SANDWICH — The Patricia Ladd Carega Gallery at 69 Maple St. in Center Sandwich will be presenting forum as part of "Oblique Horizon," an exhibition of landscapes entitled that acts as a backdrop for workshops and conversations about the stewardship of our world, on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 5 p.m.

The forum, a conversation on how art can be an important and vibrant way to spread environmental messages, will include Blair Folts, executive director of Green Mountain Conservation Society and artist; Dr. Rick Van de Poll, wetland scientist and poet; Linda Gray, senior philanthropy advisor to the NH Charitable Foundation and artist; and Deborah Friedman, internationally acclaimed artist

Each artist has work on the gallery walls representing different interpretations, inspirations and techniques.

Van de Poll has promised to share a poem or two.
