CONWAY — Arts In Motion Theater Co. will hold auditions for “Seussical: The Musical” on Monday, Aug. 19, and Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 5:30 p.m. at Pine Tree School in Center Conway.

Now one of the most performed shows in America, “Seussical” is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza based on the works of Dr. Seuss. Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (“Lucky Stiff,” “My Favorite Year,” “Once on This Island” and “Ragtime”), have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and Jojo, a little boy with a big imagination.

The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Seussical is being produced with special arrangements with Music Theatre International.

The production will be directed by Glenn Paranal-Noble, choreographed by Aimee Frechette and music directed Jennifer Bradeen. Performances will be held one weekend only, Nov. 21 to 24.

Those auditioning must be between the ages of 7 to 99 and, if auditioning for a principal role, bring a cappella piece of your choice. Those auditioning will be required to read a monologue of their choice or one given out at auditions.

For more information, email Glenn Paranal-Noble at gnobleaim@gmail.com.
