BRIDGTON, Maine — Heather Maloney will be performing at The Hayloft at Dragonfly Barn in Bridgton, Maine, on Saturday, June 15, at 7 p.m.
Maloney is touring in support of her new album “Soil in the Sky,” released Friday, June 14. on Signature Sounds.
Over the last four years, Maloney wrote more than 40 songs. Then, a few thousand people voted for their favorites, resulting in the new album.
PopMatters recently described the album’s first single “All In Your Name” as a “tender loving care package” and further wrote, “[Maloney is an] introspective musician with a voice, heart and pen that can express a wide range of emotions — from American beauty and grace to pain, comfort and joy.”
Maloney has toured nationally as a headliner as well as in support of acts like Lake Street Dive, Shakey Graves, Gary Clark Jr., Colin Hay, Mary Chapin Carpenter and many more. The New York Times called her music “utterly gorgeous, visceral” and SPIN Magazine described her as “stunning, breathy and starkly memorable.”
