TAMWORTH — The Wall of Grass, a benefit concert to support, celebrate and honor the work of the Tamworth Community Nurse Association, will take place on Sunday, Oct. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at The Preserve at Chocorua at 88 Philbrick Neighborhood Road in Tamworth.

The Wall of Grass captures the energy of different genres: a “folk-chestra,” “folk flash mob” and “cluster-folk.” The performers form a circle singing, playing numerous instruments, cascading into a symphony of music for the soul.

The artists include Sal Baglio, Sarah Gardner, Sandy Martin, Susan Cattaneo, Mike Greeley, Chuck McDermott, Catharine David, Crit Harmon, Chris Pahud, Joe Donnelly, Peter Hoffman, Linda Picceri, Allen Estes, Bobby Keyes, Denis Semprebon, Herb Gardner, Stu Kimball and Jamie Walker.

Tickets are a suggested donation of $20 and can be purchased at bit.ly/wog_purchase_tickets (print out the ticket to bring with you to the event) or go to the Tamworth Community Nurse office located at 84 Main St. in Tamworth between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. to purchase your ticket (no credit card).

Tickets can be purchased at the door, but there is no promise of ticket availability.

For Tamworth residents who find the donation a hardship or impediment, the ticket cost will be waived. Call the office at (603) 323-8511.

Parking is alongside the newly renovated barn at The Preserve. Overflow parking will be available at the adjacent field.

This is a bring-your-own-beverage event. Tamworth Community Nurse Association has partnered with Meet & Eat Thai Food and Cheese Louise food trucks in a dine and donate program. Food will be available at 5:30 p.m. Musicians start at 6:30 p.m. in the barn.
