DENMARK/JACKSON — Mountain Top Music’s Singers Workshop will be presenting a program of music from the 1950s and 1960s. From country to "Camelot," Willie Nelson to Nancy Wilson, you will hear some of your favorites interpreted by Mountain Top’s adult singers.

There are two opportunities to enjoy the fun. The first performance is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 10, 2 p.m. at Denmark Arts Center on Route 160 in Denmark, Maine. The second show will be Friday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. at the Jackson Church on Main Street (Route 16A) in Jackson.

There is a suggested donation of $10 at the door. Proceeds will support the Denmark Arts Center and Mountain Top, including the renovation of the Majestic Theatre in Conway Village.

Led by Mary Bastoni, the group is composed of people who just like to sing. Founded by Lillian Lee Morse, the workshop has been presenting fun cabarets and concerts for more than a decade.

Current singers are Teresa Dyer, Tom Ferent, Ginnie Spaulding, Louis King, Kristen Burke, Bob Carper, Michele Coffey, Peter Cash, Binney Brackett and Dave Mason.

Those who like to sing or would enjoy the opportunity to learn or polish technique, the Singers Workshop welcomes new members. Those interested can enroll or just drop in.
