PORTLAND — Defense has been a solid part of Fryeburg Academy boys’ basketball team’s success this season, however, on Feb. 17 at the Expo in the Class A South quarterfinals, Nate and Noah Herbert found just enough cracks to send top-ranked Gray-New Gloucester onto the next round following a 69-52 victory over the No. 8 seeds from Fryeburg.

Noah finished with 18 points while Nate contributed 16. The brothers led a quartet of Patriots in double figures. John Patenaude and Aiden Hebert finished with 15 and 11 points, respectively.
