CONWAY — The Kennett High football team snapped its four-game losing streak in a record-setting fashion and punched its ticket to the Division II playoffs in Gary Millen Stadium on Friday night. The Eagles topped Hollis-Brookline 61-0, scoring the points in a game in at least 40 years.

The win lifted Kennett to 5-4 on the season and secured the No. 8 seed for the playoffs. The Eagles will travel to three-time defending state champs Pelham (8-0) on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Pythons, are the lone undefeated team in Division II and among just six left in the Granite State (Bedford, Portsmouth-Oyster River and Pinkerton in Division I; Campbell in DIII; and Newport in DIV).
