CONWAY — Kevin Richard has been named the new executive director of the Kendal C. and Anna Ham Foundation, Paul L. Brigham, president of the foundation, announced in a news release this week. Richard, who will start May 1, assumes this position of executive director from Dorthea M. “Dot” Seybold, who has held that position since 2020.
Brigham said: “The Ham Foundation has been enormously fortunate to have had Dot serve as a director of the foundation since 1999 ultimately becoming the executive director. The last five years have been extremely busy ones for the Ham Foundation, with Dot overseeing the foundation’s grant-making efforts totaling some $3.6 million during her tenure. All of us at the foundation will miss Dot and her counsel, and we thank her for her tireless efforts on behalf of the Mount Washington Valley, Fryeburg and Bridgton, Maine, advisory areas, and wish her and her husband, Russ, all the best as they enter their retirement years.”
