INTERVALE — The Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring and Snowshoe Center’s 26th annual Chocolate Festival, which returns to Intervale and North Conway Feb. 22.

Always one of the sweetest days to be outside on the ski-touring trails, the event is held as a fund-raiser by the member inns and trailside businesses of the non-profit association.

Chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate fountains and fondue, brownie sundaes, and chocolate cookies of all kinds are just some of the treats you’ll enjoy at the trailside stops between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Festival maps are provided to all patrons who purchase a pass for $30 in advance or $35 the day of the event. Festival passes include a daily trail pass, chocolate treats offered at participating stops, use of a shuttle, and chance to win a $200 gift certificate to be used at any participating member business.

Those who complete all the stops may avail themselves of more treats — present your festival pass on the day of the event to other North Conway area businesses for more special offers.
