FRYEBURG, Maine — The Mount Washington Valley Ski Team will host three Olympic ski racers at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center at Fryeburg Academy on Saturday from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

The evening will include a rousing discussion on what it takes to make the Olympic podium, including powerful stories, tips, and calls to action to empower and energize aspiring ski racers in the audience.

The Olympic lineup includes two-time Olympic medalist and speedster Andrew Weibrecht from Lake Placid, N.Y.; three-time Olympian and technical specialist Nolan Kasper of Morristown, N.J.; and the valley’s own two-time Olympian and U.S. Ski Team veteran Leanne Smith of North Conway.

The evening is a fundraiser to support MWV Ski Team, the area’s top racing program, with spirited, passionate, and mission-focused activities, including a giant raffle, silent auction and live auction.

Your ticket will also include hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, and beer and wine will be available on a donation basis. There will be an opportunity for photos, autographs, posters and more at the venue.
