To the editor:

I believe it is only fair to have a cooperative school district.

The sending towns have never had a vote, but just keep paying much higher increases for the schools. The costs of the schools are the largest part of our tax bill.

The way the money has been spent should have us in a much higher ranking in the state. Money is never the biggest factor in how well children do in school. The number of school-age children has seen a steady decline, but the costs of education have had a steady increase.

Is there no end?
