To the editor:

The members of the One Promise Group of Narcotics Anonymous, located in Conway, are writing jointly to extend our gratitude. We appreciate the announcements you print in the paper about our meetings.

For many years now, the One Promise Group has existed in the valley with a singular purpose: to help the addict who still suffers.

We are recovering addicts ourselves. Over the years our membership has grown, and we sometimes see as many as 20 and 30 people in the hall on Wednesdays and Sundays, from all walks of life. Though we keep a low profile with respect to our individual recoveries and our presence in the community, we are ordinary citizens -workers among workers, teachers among teachers and Daily Sun readers among Daily Sun readers.
