To the editor:

Richard Rolando’s letter that appeared in the Oct. 31 Sun ends with “This is my humble opinion. TRUMP 2020!”

Sadder than the fact that anyone would hope for four more years of President Donald Trump’s insanity is the text that preceded Richard’s sign-off. From lies about the Democrats being for open borders that allow foreigners to vote to the Democrats' trying to fix the 2016 election, Richard’s letter is filled with lies, errors and ridiculous claims.

Everything in the letter has been proven to be false, but as we continue to see, Trump supporters don’t want anything to do with facts and will continue to lie just like Trump to try to convince the gullible and the uninformed that they’re telling the truth.

While it’s tiring having to read and respond to the same old lies, it’s necessary. Lies in a vacuum could be mistaken for the truth, so while I won’t bother pointing out the facts that show the lie in all of Richard’s claims again, if you read the letters to the editor regularly, you’ve seen them all before and should know better than to believe the lies.

Hopefully, Americans have seen enough Trump lies exposed that they will come to their senses and vote Trump out of office in 2020, along with any Republican senators that stand with their party over the facts and their country when Trump is impeached.

Trump supporters don't care about facts. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been elected in the first place.
