The member school districts of SAU 13 (Tamworth, Madison and Freedom) will host Future Planning Community Forums during the next few weeks.

Events are scheduled for the following dates and places:

• Freedom, Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 6-7 p.m. at the elementary school, 40 Loon Lake Road, Freedom, (603) 539-2077; and Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 6 p.m. at the Freedom Community Club (meeting at Freedom Town Hall, 16 Elm St., Freedom).

• Madison, Saturday, Oct. 19 from 9-10 a.m., and Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-7 p.m. at Madison Elementary School, 2069 Village Road, Madison, (603) 367-4642.

• Tamworth, Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.. at the Kenneth A. Brett School, 881 Tamworth Road, Tamworth, (603) 323-7271.

According to SAU 13 School Superintendent Meredith Nadeau, "The forums will gather input from parents and community members as the boards work on a strategic plan for the schools for the next three to five years.

"All community members, including children in grades 4 and older, are encouraged to attend a session," Nadeau said.

Any parents in need of child care for the meeting are encouraged to contact the school office where the event is being held to register.
