CONWAY — Planning board members voted Aug. 22 to send a strong message to Conway selectmen that the board of selectmen needs to take action to address the issues relating to short-term rentals.

The decision came at at the planning board meeting, after lengthy discussion and hearing public comments on problems relating to the impact of short-term rentals on neighborhoods and rental housing supplies, and on the the advice of Planning Director Tom Irving.
