CONWAY — Fox Ridge Resort in North Conway is under new management and will be opening its doors for the first time as a four-season resort on Wednesday, May 1.

Ashok Patel — developer of the Home2Suites hotel project elsewhere in North Conway — purchased the resort from the owner of the nearby Red Jacket Resort earlier this year.

Located at 1979 White Mountain Highway, Fox Ridge has recently only been run in the warmer months, but now will be run year-round.

The property consists of 136 rooms and 30 acres in the heart of the White Mountains.

According to Lori Deiter, general manager at the new Fox Ridge Resort, "We would like to continue guest experiences from the past and create new experiences going forward.

"New faces and some old can still be seen at the property, and we have been busy taking reservations and getting the resort prepared for the arrival of our first guests. We hope to make the transition of ownership seamless to our guests,” she said.

"Traditionally Fox Ridge Resort has been open seasonally from Memorial Day through Columbus Day weekend. We are proud to announce that the resort has decided to move to a year-round resort property. This will allow our guests to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds you here and the best of the Mount Washington Valley all year.”

"Our goal is to make our guests feel like they are coming home when they stay at the resort. We have outstanding customer service experience throughout our staff," she said.

Guests will be treated to a hearty complimentary breakfast buffet every morning with views of the Moat Mountain range. Guests of the Fox Ridge can also enjoy stunning views while swimming in the outdoor pool or relaxing in the indoor pool and Jacuzzi.

"Play a game of miniature golf on our nine-hole Story Land-themed course, or play tennis, shuffleboard and basketball on our private courts. Nearby hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, kayaking and tubing, will also keep our guests active," Deiter added.
