CONWAY — In March, a bill to allow municipalities to collect fees from lodging establishment guests was killed by the state Senate, but members of the municipal budget committee hope such a bill can be reintroduced.

Budget committee chair Peter Donohoe asked selectmen about SB 262 during their meeting on May 16. Donohoe, vice chair Frank Jost and the members of the Conway Municipal Budget Committee had sent selectmen a letter about the bill, which the Senate killed March 9.
