Weekly story time resumes this week on Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m. Stories and crafts for children and their caregivers.
The Freedom Public Library is offering a SoulCollage workshop lead by Heather MacLeod on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
SoulCollage cards are mini-collages made by using images, intuition and imagination and can be used as a tool for personal reflection. It is a surprisingly joyful and satisfying process of creative self-discovery. No background in art or specific artistic talent is required. The class size is limited to 12 and registration is required.
Call the library at (603) 539-5176 or come by to sign up. Freedom residents will be given first dibs on sign ups, but others will be put on a wait list.
The Community Club of Freedom, Inc. will hold a dinner meeting on Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. at the town hall. The dinner is baked ham, baked beans, apple sauce, bread, coleslaw and dessert. Members pay $10 and non-members pay $14. An email will be sent to members and reservations are by phone at (603) 539-1602 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All are welcome. Drop-in cribbage happens on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. at the library. Mahjongg games are Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. Contact the library at (603) 539-5176 if you’d like to learn cribbage or mahjongg and we will schedule a class.
