FRYEBURG, Maine — The Pythagorean Masonic Lodge No. 11 of Fryeburg, Maine, presented its community appreciation award this year to Diane Warren Jones, who has spent most of her life making a difference in peoples lives, the town of Fryeburg and the community she has lived in for her entire life.

Jones received a framed color certificate, a bouquet of flowers and wonderful dinner with her family in the dining room prior to opening the lodge.

In addition to volunteering and serving on almost every town committee, including serving as president of Fryeburg Historical Society, churches, Fryeburg selectman, curator of the Fryeburg Fair Farm Museum and director of many other boards.

Jones' long traveled road started as a Rainbow Girl. She is a majority member and past worthy advisor of North Conway N.H. Assembly No. 24, Order of Rainbow for Girls.

She was also awarded the Grand Cross of Color for the State of NH in 1968 which is the highest award a Rainbow Girl can achieve.

Jones is also the daughter of Brother Carl Warren a 50-year member of Pythagorean Lodge, who passed several years ago.
