EFFINGHAM — The Green Mountain Conservation Group will be presenting a holiday felting and crafting workshop fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 23, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Blue Heron House at the Patricia and Charles H. Watts II Conservation Center in Effingham.

Learn how to interpret a form from nature into felt and other fun crafts like nature prints, watercolor bookmarks and nature journals.

Small children may work with soap felting and adults and older children may work with needles to create holiday ornaments or other crafts to make your own holiday gifts and decorations.

Artists Jo Williams and Blair Folts will help guide needle felting and nature print making. No experience is necessary.

The cost is $25 for families, $15 for adults and $5 for children.

All funds raised go to support the Green Mountain Conservation Group’s watershed research, education, advocacy and land conservation.

Preregister by contacting info@gmcg.org or calling (603) 539-1859. Go to gmcg.org for more information.
