BROWNFIELD, Maine — The Conway Area Humane Society will be presenting its premier fundraising gala Tuxes and Tails on Friday, Nov. 8, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield, Maine.

“Tuxes is one of our largest fundraisers of the year, and all money raised supports the mission of the Shelter and our commitment to the Human/Animal Bond,” said Event Coordinator Kristen Snowdon said.

This year, Tuxes and Tails will feature a social hour with appetizers and complimentary beer and wine, and musical performance by Tom Dean. Guests will then enjoy a Stone Mountain dinner buffet, followed by a live auction.

This year, the auction includes a chance to bid on a gorgeous pendant from Tim Psaledakis Jewelry; a VIP Broadway experience at "Hamilton;" an all-inclusive trip to Punta Cana; a seven-day cruise of the Greek Isles; and many equally unique and exciting items. The evening will end with a performance by Maine bluegrass band Old Eleven.

“We are so looking forward to a wonderful evening, where we can share the very important work that the shelter does," Snowdon said. "We are also really excited to be offering some unique auction items while enjoying the beauty of Stone Mountain Art Center.”

Tickets to Tuxes are limited and can be purchase online at conwayshelter.org.
