Ruth P. Pitman passed away comfortably at her home in North Fryeburg, Maine, on May 12, 2019, at the age of 79.

Ruth is predeceased by husband, Jay Pitman; daughter, Kimberly Pitman; and daughter, Jaye (Pitman) Fabino.

Ruth is lovingly remembered by sister, Althea Pike; sister, Rita Charles; brother, Erlon Rugg; son, Tim Pitman and wife, Valarie; granddaughter, Morgan Wright; granddaughter, Eva Fabino and her father, Rob Fabino; granddaughter, Kolby Pitman; grandson, Tanner Pitman; great-grandson, Mason Morrill; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

Ruth was a loyal and trusted employee at Fryeburg Healthcare Center for many, many years.

She enjoyed feeding and watching the wild birds that came to her feeder. She also enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb.

She was self-sacrificing, always thinking of helping the other person. Faith and family were of the utmost importance to her. She was a dedicated servant to her God Jehovah for 55 plus years as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses

These words barely scratch the surface in describing the wonderful woman she was and the lives she touched. We all will always love you, Muv.

A memorial service for Ruth will be held at the Norway Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 603 Harrison Road in Norway, Maine, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8.
