CONWAY — About 50 vendors and an estimated 300 visitors attended the Mt. Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce EXPO19 on May 21 at the Red Jacket Mountain View Resort in North Conway.

The chamber’s annual event showcases valley businesses and provides an opportunity for business people to network learn about trends in the valley.

Michelle Cruz, events manager for the chamber, said, “We’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback about the event and the networking. People liked the format change.”

This year, the expo moved to an afternoon format, combining workshops with a chamber after hours event, and Cruz said, “Businesses really appreciated that,” as well as the “Life after High School” event to help young people plan successful careers in the Mount Washington Valley.
